What's the difference between registering as team lead or as a guest?

There are two options for registering a team to an event.

LOGIN WITH EXISTING PROFILE

Use Log in with Existing Profile if you plan to play in the team or you already have a FIBA 3x3 Profile.

(a) If you already have a FIBA 3x3 Profile, first log in by providing your email address (username) and password.  

(b) If you don’t yet have a FIBA 3x3 Profile, please create that before the team registrations (see instructions here) and then log in.

Your email address will be marked as the team contact email for the event. You will get an email with a link to the team edit page on which you can add start adding players, starting from yourself.

REGISTER AS A GUEST

Use Register as Guest when you are registering a team on behalf of the players and you don't have a FIBA 3x3 Profile. So you are, for example:

• a parent

• a coach

• a team lead, agent, PR person, technical support, significant other, computer whiz nephew etc

 As a guest, your registration process will not start before you verify the email address you provided by clicking the link sent in the email you will receive. Do note that the email you give will be used as the team contact for this event only. 

After verifying the email, you will be emailed a link to the team edit page and you can add players. Note that you cannot add yourself before you have created a FIBA 3x3 Profile (see instructions here)
