How do I register players to a national team competiton?

Modified on Thu, 05 Apr 2018 at 12:44 PM

As a National Federation (NF) you can register up to 4 players to each national team competition your NF qualified to via (Login and navigate to Tools-Section)

FIBA highly recommends not to wait till the very last moment to add the players to your roster to avoid suprises related to the players you want to nominate (such as no confirmed account or an invalid passport)

Once you are picking your players, do note that the system will only allow you to pick confirmed FIBA 3x3 Profiles.

This should contain the number shown on the jersey the player will have during the competition

Passport scan

You will need to upload a valid passport for each player. Do note that no ID cards or other documents can be accepted. Only a valid passport is allowed. Please ensure that the quality of the uploaded passport scan allows reading the various information shown on the passport.

Do note that the maximum size of a passport scan is limited to 5MB per file - however this should be more than sufficient for a good quality passport scan / image.

Passport Issue Date:

You will need to specify the passport issue date as shown on the uploaded passport scan. For eligibility reasons do note that only passports with an issue date prior 01.01. of the previous year are valid.
For 2018 season this means the passport has to be issued prior 01.01.2017. In case the current passport was issued after that date we would like to ask you to contact FIBA ( as soon as possible. They will be able to provide you with further instructions on how to proceed.

Passport Expiry Date:

You will need to specify the passport expiry date as shown on the uploaded passport scan.
