The real-time possession tracker is a special tool for the TV Graphics and Betting partners.
An additional human operator can track which team has the ball at any specific time and the information is fed to the TV Graphics and Betting API in real-time.
Note that the possession information in the stat sheet is not based on the real-time possession tracker, but on calculating the ball possession outcomes per the FIBA 3x3 Statisticians' Manual.
